We are passionate about doing house concerts, but it’s important to remember that creating and performing music is Jessica's livelihood. Though touring can be one of the main revenue streams for a musician, it costs significant money to travel, eat and sleep away from home, and these costs must be factored into Jessica’s fees. Based on these and other expenses, Jessica’s fee for a house concert ranges from $500-$2,000. We do ask for a $100 deposit to secure your requested date. There are several different ways hosts can opt to handle funding. Please choose the one that works best for you!

Subsidized Ticket - Guests pay a suggested donation, but Host covers the shortfall personally or through local sponsorship.

Host Guarantee Option 1 - "Free Admission" (Host agrees to cover the full cost personally or through local sponsorship. Guests are not asked for a donation.)

Host Guarantee Option 2 - "Suggested Donations A" (Host agrees to cover the full cost and keeps all excess donations.)

Host Guarantee Option 3 - "Suggested Donations B" (Host agrees to cover the full cost and gives excess donations to Jessica.)

Benefit Concert - "Suggested Donations C" (Host agrees to cover the full cost and is given any excess donations to give to a charity of their choosing.)

Suggested Donation(Required)

We always recommend asking for a specific amount for the suggested donation–typically $15 to $20 per person. If you’d like to indicate an amount, please list it below. If you have chosen "Sponsor Guarantee - Free Admission" above, simply type N/A.

Lodging(Required)

While it isn’t mandatory, it can be super helpful to offer Jessica lodging when possible. Is lodging available via guest room, hotel accomodations, or Airbnb?

Yes, we have a guest room that Jessica may use.

We would be happy to book a room for Jessica in a nearby hotel/Airbnb and will send options before confirming with the host/hotel.

Are you able to provide a meal before the show?(Required)

It is a treat for Jessica to share a meal with her Hosts before the show, and it’s a great way to spend time getting to know each other! Jessica enjoys most foods, but she does have a gluten sensitivity and tries to avoid dairy products before performing. Whenever possible, Jessica prefers to eat at least two hours prior to performance time.

Tickets

We prefer to set up a link online for guests to obtain tickets in advance. Not only does this help with calculating attendance, you can easily add the link to Evites or Facebook event pages. Our goal is to work with you to have a sold-out house show!

Cancellations

If for some reason you have to cancel the event, please contact us as soon as possible. There is no fee for a cancellation up to two weeks before the scheduled date. After that, we request a 25% payment. However, extenuating circumstances such as weather, new zoning restrictions, etc., will be considered–we understand that life happens! Should your confirmed outdoor show get rained out, we will do our best to reschedule. If we can't find a mutually agreeable date, you'll receive a full refund of your deposit.
